- Stop retinoids and exfoliants 5–7 days before.
- Avoid tanning and sun for two weeks.
- Stay hydrated.
- No waxing or threading for approximately one week.
- Arrive makeup-free.
- Disclose medications and supplements.
- Skin cleanse and consultation.
- Topical numbing cream for approximately 20–30 minutes.
- Protective eyewear is worn.
- Fractional laser is applied.
- A post-treatment soothing product is applied and aftercare is reviewed.
- Redness, warmth and mild swelling may occur.
- Skin may feel tight or sensitive.
- Micro-crusting may appear 2–4 days later.
- Avoid makeup for approximately 48 hours.
- Use only recommended recovery products initially.
- Cleanse gently.
- Avoid rubbing, exfoliating tools and hot water.
- Avoid acids, retinoids and scrubs for the first week.
- Hydrate with the recommended moisturizer.
- Use SPF 30 or higher after day 3.
- Avoid sauna, hot showers and heavy exercise for approximately 48–72 hours.
- Gradually resume skincare around day 7–10 with provider guidance.
- Days 1–3: redness, warmth and swelling.
- Days 3–7: possible micro-crusting and dryness.
- Around week 2: a smoother, brighter appearance may emerge.
