Pre-Treatment Preparation

During the Treatment

• Cleansing: Your skin will be thoroughly cleansed to remove any makeup, oil, and impurities.
• Numbing Cream: A topical numbing cream may be applied to ensure your comfort during the procedure.
• Microneedling Process: A specialized device with fine needles will be used to create controlled micro-injuries on the skin’s surface.
• Sensation: You may feel a slight vibration or tingling sensation, but the numbing cream typically minimizes discomfort.

Immediately After the Treatment

• Redness and Swelling: Expect some redness and mild swelling, similar to a sunburn, which can last from a few hours to a couple of days.
• Tightness and Sensitivity: Your skin might feel tight and sensitive to touch.

Post-Treatment Care

• Hydration: Keep your skin hydrated with gentle, non-comedogenic moisturizers.
• Avoid Makeup: Refrain from using makeup for at least 24 hours post-treatment.
• Sun Protection: Use a broad-spectrum sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher to protect your skin from UV rays.
• Gentle Skincare: Use mild, non-irritating skincare products and avoid active ingredients like retinoids and acids for a few days.

Healing and Results

• Peeling and Flaking: You may experience some peeling or flaking as your skin begins to heal and regenerate.
• Collagen Production: Over the next few weeks, your skin will produce new collagen, leading to improved texture and firmness.
• Visible Results: Initial results can be seen within a week, with continued improvement over the next 4-6 weeks.
• Multiple Sessions: Recommended treatment plan is 3 sessions spaced 15 days apart, followed by 2 sessions spaced 1 month apart for long-lasting results.
