Pre-Treatment Preparation

• Consultation: Schedule a consultation to discuss your skin concerns, medical history, and desired outcomes.
• Avoid Certain Products: Stop using retinoids, exfoliants, and other harsh skincare products a few days before the treatment.
• Sun Exposure: Minimize sun exposure and avoid tanning for at least a week before your appointment.
• Hydration: Ensure your skin is well-hydrated in the days leading up to your treatment.

During the Treatment

• Cleansing: Your skin will be thoroughly cleansed to remove any makeup, oil, and impurities.
• Protective Eyewear: You will be given protective eyewear to shield your eyes from the laser light.
• Laser Application: The non-ablative laser device will be gently moved over your skin, emitting light pulses to target deeper skin layers without damaging the surface.
• Sensation: You may feel a warming or tingling sensation as the laser is applied, but it is generally well-tolerated.
• Next we get ready for the Microneedling part:
• Blood Draw: A small amount of blood will be drawn from your arm to prepare the PRP.
• PRP Preparation: The blood is processed in a centrifuge to separate the platelet-rich plasma.
• Numbing Cream: A topical numbing cream may be applied to ensure your comfort during the microneedling procedure.
• Microneedling Process: A specialized device with fine needles will be used to create controlled micro-injuries on the skin’s surface.
• PRP Application: The PRP is applied to the treated areas, allowing it to penetrate the skin through the microchannels created by the microneedling.

Immediately After the Treatment

• Redness and Swelling: Expect some redness and mild swelling, similar to a sunburn, which can last from a few hours to a couple of days.
• Tightness and Sensitivity: Your skin might feel tight and sensitive to touch.
• PRP Absorption: The PRP will continue to absorb and promote healing in the treated areas.
