Pre-Treatment Preparation

• Avoid Certain Products: Stop using retinoids, exfoliants, and other harsh skincare products a few days before the treatment.
• Sun Exposure: Minimize sun exposure and avoid tanning for at least a week before your appointment.
• Medication Review: Inform your practitioner of any medications you are taking, as some can increase skin sensitivity.

During the Treatment

• Cleansing: Your skin will be thoroughly cleansed to remove any makeup, oil, and impurities.
• Aquagold Process: A specialized device with fine needles will be used to create controlled micro-injuries on the skin’s surface.
• Sensation: You may experience a mild tingling sensation during the treatment, often described as a gentle needle-like feeling. Most people find that numbing cream is not necessary, as the sensation is generally quite tolerable.

Immediately After the Treatment

• Rosy and Pink: Expect a mild rosy or pink complexion that typically lasts between 30 minutes to 2 hours.
• Avoid: To ensure optimal results, avoid exercising, wearing makeup, touching your face, and sun exposure for 12 hours post-treatment.
